Club Satellite - Next meeting will be Tuesday, March 28. Our morning Satellite meets at 7:00 am at the Hwy 20 Roadhouse Restaurant on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month. This is a fun, casual group working and brainstorming on various projects. Fundraising ideas are a big topic! See Steve Taylor or Ken Brink for more information.

 Rock n Roll Party! - Coming up April 8th! Join this fun social and dance! Contests for costumes and dancing! See Dick or Gloria to join in on the fun. Tickets are on sale now - $15/ea from the Atkins at the Kiwanis meetings, or at Brownpapertickets.com: LINK  Will-call will be available if you want to reserve your ticket at pay at the door (no drop-ins at the Elks Club). Final planning meetings will be 1) after the Wednesday meeting this week, and 2) at the Belmont on April 3, 5:00 pm - connect with Dick & Gloria for a headcount for this final planning gathering.


NEW PROJECT! Olympic Neighbors - See Jim Ott to volunteer to make housing for people with disabilities a reality. Work parties are going now! Expected Opening of this wonderful group home is in May! 

2017-2018 Officers Opportunities - It's not too soon to start thinking about running for an office for 2017-2018! The nominations Committee if forming. See Ken Brink for nominations and volunteering.


 Backpack Project -Meal packing is going on every Tuesday! See Jim Ott to help. 



 Mariner's Memorial - Medallions are available for $100 each to help fund this project. See Mel, Sue or Bernie for information. Send people to our Mariners' Memorial webpage for more information! 


MEMBERS! Are you not helping actively with a project? Be an Active Kiwanis member and join one now - Check out committee lists, sign into www.ptkiwanis.org and look up the committee chair! Connect! Suggest a project we can start! 

Work toward being a Distinguished Member this coming year! Sponsor two new members, participate in two service projects, and attend one convention (district/zone/international).

Birthday Challenge!
If it's your birthday, write a check for the number of years you have been on this planet - and doing wonderful things for kids during all of them, we're sure - and bring it to the Wednesday meeting. We will celebrate with a song...or not - whichever you choose! Money donated will go toward the project of your choice.

Eyeglasses recycling - Bring your old eyeglasses to Barb or Ed Zinser - We receive a small donation for each pair that we turn in! 



 Division 33 Council will next meet Saturday, May 6th at the Haselwood Y in Silverdale at our regular time of 10am - 12:30pm. LG-designate Bruce McBurney will conduct the meeting. The Silverdale club will be hosting. There will be a presentation from Tod Hall of the Washington Youth Academy with a few cadets from their program.
